Collaborating with managers to define and refine machine learning objectives, with a specific focus on computer vision and geospatial analysis.
Designing and developing machine learning systems and self-running artificial intelligence (AI) software to automate predictive models in computer vision and geospatial analysis.
Transforming data science prototypes specific to computer vision and geospatial data and applying relevant ML algorithms and tools.
Ensuring that algorithms generate accurate recommendations and insights for computer vision and geospatial applications.
Employing techniques to process and extract valuable information from unstructured data, such as auto-tagging images and performing text-to-speech conversions for geospatial data.
Solving complex problems using multi-layered datasets in computer vision and geospatial analysis, as well as optimizing existing machine learning libraries and frameworks.
Developing ML algorithms to analyze vast volumes of historical data in computer vision and geospatial analysis for prediction and pattern recognition.
Conducting tests, performing statistical analysis, and interpreting results to validate and optimize the performance of computer vision and geospatial ML models.
Documenting machine learning processes for reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
Staying up to date with the latest advancements in computer vision and geospatial analysis.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related field.
Master's degree in computer vision, geospatial analysis, or a relevant discipline would be advantageous.
At least two years of experience as a machine learning engineer, with a focus on computer vision and/or geospatial analysis projects.
Proficiency in Python for developing machine learning models.
Experience with machine learning frameworks, libraries, and data structures relevant to computer vision and geospatial analysis.
In-depth understanding of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms relevant to computer vision and geospatial analysis applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, specifically tailored to challenges in computer vision and geospatial analysis.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), for deploying and scaling machine learning models.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively in cross-functional teams.
Outstanding time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
