Technology together with Young Generations: Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman’s Vision for Indonesia’s Agriculture
Others

At Agrinnovation 2025, Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman’s emphasized that hard work always pays off. He encouraged young generations to stay motivated in developing the nation, particularly in the agricultural sector. With Indonesia’s vast potential in agriculture, young people should take pride and actively contribute to its growth.
Echoing this spirit, Natalia Rialucky Marsudi, CEO of Fairatmos, highlighted the crucial role of technology in advancing agricultural businesses in Indonesia, especially in carbon farming. Fairatmos introduces technology-driven solutions that support project execution, enhance transparency, and maintain integrity, ensuring the project’s value remains intact. Through this approach, smallholder farmers have the potential to benefit economically from carbon credits.
However, Natalia also emphasized that technology alone is not enough. Without government support and active community participation, transforming the agricultural sector towards sustainability will face significant challenges. Collaboration between technological innovation, policies that support farmers, and community engagement plays a crucial role in the growth of carbon farming in Indonesia.
With hard work and pride in Indonesia’s agriculture, young generations are encouraged to seize opportunities in the carbon market, adopt sustainable farming practices, and elevate the sector to greater heights.
