Apa yang akan Anda lakukan:
- Design and lead community and social strategies for carbon projects across Indonesia.
- Develop engagement approaches, governance structures, and benefit-sharing mechanisms aligned with: Verra VCS & CCB Standards, IFC Performance Standards (especially PS1, PS5, PS7), ADB Social Safeguard Standards
- Lead and /or oversee: Social baseline assessments; Stakeholder mapping FPIC process design and documentation; Grievance Redress Mechanisms (GRM)
- Identify and manage social risks including land tenure complexity, customary land claims (adat), and elite capture.
- Serve as Fairatmos’ internal subject matter expert on Indigenous Peoples and local community dynamics in Indonesia.
- Coordinate with external consultants, NGOs, and advisors on social and community matters.
- Ensure consistency between documented processes and on-the-ground implementation.
Kualifikasi yang Dibutuhkan:
- Bachelor in Anthropology, Sociology, Development Studies, or related fields.
- 3–7 years of professional experience working with local communities and/or Indigenous Peoples in Indonesia.
- Prior experience in at least one of the following contexts: Carbon Project Development, NGOs or International Development Organizations, Research Institutions, or Palm Oil Estates, Industrial Timber Plantations, or Land-based Industries with Community Interfaces
- Strong understanding of community engagement, FPIC, and social safeguard processes.
- Demonstrated experience working in multi-stakeholder and politically complex environments.
- Ability to work across multiple projects and adapt approaches to different social contexts.
- Hands-on experience with Verra CCB, IFC Performance Standards, or ADB Safeguards.
- Experience working with adat communities or in areas with customary land tenure.
