The Floresta Verde REDD+ Project in Pará, Brazil, spans 53,528 hectares and aims to reduce over 7,749,856 tCO2e from 2016 to 2046 by preserving the Amazon Rainforest. Addressing deforestation from agriculture, mining, and logging, it combines conservation with community involvement, creating jobs, educational workshops, and promoting ecotourism. The project has employed 95 locals, and protected habitats for five endangered species, including the White-crested Guan and Golden Parakeet.

Climate Benefits
Aims to reduce over 7,749,856 tCO2e emission reductions to date. The emission reductions are expected to occur over the projectʼs lifetime of 30 years.

5 species of Critically Endangered and Endangered species will face reduced threats due to the projectʼs activities.
