ASEAN Climate Forum 2026: Fairatmos Showcases Tech-Driven Transparency at the Indonesia Stock Exchange

JAKARTA, 12 February 2026 — The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Main Hall was transformed yesterday into a hub of regional climate diplomacy. The ASEAN Climate Forum (ACF) 2026, organized by the ASEAN-BAC and the ASEAN Alliance on Carbon Markets (AACM), gathered the region’s foremost leaders to harmonize a collective strategy for the 2050 Net Zero transition.

Among the key voices was Fairatmos CEO, Natalia Rialucky, who participated as a panelist to discuss the intersection of technology, integrity, and regional cooperation.

Session 1: A Call for Regional Integrity and Connectivity

The forum opened with a high-level segment that set a clear mandate for the 11 ASEAN member states. The discussion emphasized that while the region holds immense carbon sequestration potential, the "infrastructure of trust" is what will ultimately attract global capital.

  • Ensuring Market Integrity: H.E. Hashim Djojohadikusumo, Indonesia’s Special Presidential Envoy for Climate and Energy, delivered a strong message regarding the oversight of the carbon exchange. He emphasized that the government is committed to rigorous capital market supervision to prevent manipulation, ensuring that ASEAN remains a high-integrity destination for climate investment.

  • The "Battery of the World": YAB Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, shared an ambitious vision for the ASEAN Power Grid. He highlighted that through advanced digitalization and smart grid integration, the region is poised to become a global hub for renewable energy, essentially acting as the world’s "green battery."

Solving the Complexity: The Carbon Methodology Finder

During her panel on cross-border climate initiatives, Natalia Rialucky addressed one of the primary bottlenecks in the voluntary carbon market: the fragmentation of technical standards. As regional players navigate between national systems (like Indonesia’s SRN) and international frameworks, the need for clarity has never been more urgent.

To address this, Fairatmos showcased its Carbon Methodology Finder. This proprietary tool is designed for regional stakeholders, including project developers, investors, and regulators to efficiently search, compare, and analyze the various carbon methodologies utilized across Southeast Asia.

"Transparency is the currency of a successful carbon market," Natalia Rialucky noted during the session. "By launching the Carbon Methodology Finder, we are providing the technical platform to navigate regional complexities.

Technology as the Bridge to Trust

The panel concluded with a deep dive into how climate-tech companies like Fairatmos are closing the "trust gap." Natalia emphasized that technology does more than just speed up processes; it ensures that every carbon credit generated represents a verified environmental impact and provides fair economic returns to the local communities on the ground.

The Road Ahead: Philippines 2026

As the forum concluded, the focus shifted to the upcoming Philippines’ ASEAN-BAC Chairmanship. The consensus was clear: the momentum for the ASEAN Common Carbon Framework (ACCF) is building, and the role of high-precision technology will be central to its success.

For Fairatmos, the ACF 2026 was a powerful validation of its mission. By combining high-level climate diplomacy with practical technological solutions, Fairatmos is helping to build an ASEAN that is not only resilient to climate change but also a leader in the global green economy.
